Homegrown
Seattle is rich with farm-to-table restaurants, so there’s many to choose from. Homegrown is no exception. In addition to their menu of local and sustainable ingredients, the location is very quaint. They are inside Melrose Market in Capitol Hill with lovely sidewalk seating. On a warm summer day, we couldn’t resist.
You can really taste the freshness of the ingredients. I had the beet salad, which was topped with some goat cheese, on a bed of arugula and shaved fennel. Dub-C had the reuben that featured Beecher’s cheese and homemade bread. Simple and tasty!
